At Lifebridge Church, we recognize that the heartbeat of our Christian faith is love. Jesus said in John 13:35 (ESV), “By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.” In this passage, Jesus was speaking specifically about the love that His followers have for each other. It’s by this love that the world will know that we are His!
One of the ways we display our love is by caring for each other in the hard times of life. Everyone goes through difficult times at one time or another, and we all need love and support during those times. We want to be there for you in your time of need, and that’s what our CARES MINISTRY is all about.
If you would like to speak with a Pastor about a need in your life or if you (or someone you love) is in the hospital, then please fill out the form below and someone will reach out to you shortly.
Our staff diligently prays over the prayer requests that come in to our church every week. If you have a prayer request (for yourself or anyone else), then please fill out the form below and know that we will be praying for that situation.
Celebrate Recovery is a Christ-centered, 12 step recovery program for anyone who desires freedom from any hurt, habit, or hang-up. This includes but is not limited to those who are struggling with anger, co-dependency, eating disorder, food addiction, alcohol or drug addiction, sexual addiction, gambling addiction, or physical-emotional-sexual abuse recovery. Pastor Rick Warren states that people often hang on to their hurts for years. They believe that “time will heal all wounds,” but the truth is that this often makes things worse. Wounds that do not have the opportunity to heal can fester and spread infection to the whole body. So time only extends the pain if the problem is not dealt with. That is why the writer of Hebrews challenges us all when he states, “let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us (Hebrews 12:1b, ESV).
The heart of the Celebrate Recovery program is found in three different types of groups: the large group meeting and the open share small groups, which both take place on the general meeting night, and step study small groups, which meet on a separate night.
Our general meeting nights are held every Monday night from 6:30p-8:00p in our Adult Bible Study hallway. No registration is required, and childcare is available.
